With the debut of Airtel 5G, the telco has named its service Airtel 5G Plus. In 8 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Nagpur, and Chennai, Airtel has begun offering its 5G service. Users can use their current 4G plans with Airtel’s 5G service, the company has verified. New 5G plans will likely be created by Airtel and other telecoms after the network is fully operational and more people have access to it in the upcoming months.
Airtel 5G Plus is currently accessible in some areas of the aforementioned cities, but before we start making plans, the telecom has published a list of smartphones from manufacturers like Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo, Oppo, and more that support 5G connectivity. Therefore, you can utilise 5G service in a few parts of the city provided you have smartphones from these manufacturers and connect to the Airtel network.
