Puja Vidhi, Narak Chaturdashi 2022
This day is lucky for bathing before sunrise. People should bathe with sesame oil. People circle Apamarga leaves over their heads after bathing.
A water-filled vessel is stored overnight on Ahoi Ashtami. Narak Chaturdashi bathing water is blended with vessel water.
Lord Yamraj is worshipped by burning diya outside the main entrance after bathing.
In the evening, diyas are lit to worship all the gods and set on both sides of the entry or main door.
During Nisheeth Kaal, people toss away unwanted items. On Diwali, the day after Narak Chaturdashi, goddess Lakshmi visits our houses to bring wealth.
