Tata Motors has been testing the long-range Tata Nexon EV on Indian roads for a long time and now the launch date of this electric SUV has also been revealed. Tata Motors has taken the wraps off the all-new Curv EV on 6th April itself. Tata Motors is finally all set to launch the long-range Nexon electric SUV in India. The company was earlier scheduled to launch the 2022 Nexon EV on April 20, which is now going to be launched on May 11, 2022. While releasing the teaser of the new Nexon EV, the company has said that the new electric SUV will be launched under the name Nexon EV Max.
The Nexon EV Now Gets a 40 KW-Hour Battery Pack!
It has been revealed in several reports that the Nexon EV may now get a 40 kW-r battery pack, which will be 10 kW-r more than the current pack. Recently, this car has been seen testing in Pune and this test model has appeared with dual-beam LED headlamps and LED DRLs associated with it. Apart from this, to give a fresh look to the electric SUV, the company has installed 16-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels in it. It is being speculated that the ex-showroom price of the Nexon EV Max in India will be around Rs 20 lakh.

Auto Headlamps with Nexon EV
Almost all the features and layouts can be found in the interiors of the updated model from the current model. Although the company can add some features to it considering the competition. Auto headlamps, auto climate control, semi-digital instrument clusters, and many other such features are expected to come with the Nexon EV. Talking about safety, the new model is going to get ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, two airbags in the front, corner stability control, and many other features. According to the latest information, the long-range Tata Nexon will come with ventilated seats, cruise control, and park mode in the front.
The range of the car is claimed to be 312
With the current Tata Nexon EV, the company has given a 30.2 kWh-R lithium-ion battery pack that comes with a permanent synchronous magnet. The range of the car is claimed by ARAI to be 312, although it can be driven up to 300 km on a full charge on the road. This powertrain generates 125 Bhp power and 245 Nm peak torque. An automatic transmission has been given with this electric motor.
